There's lots goin' down these days. Just about all of it good. I'll try and hit a few of the highlights so that you can stay somewhat in the know.
If you haven't noticed, www.killerpeach.net is back, mostly. There is still the issue of not having pictures for any posts prior to the domain fiasco that began on April 24. You can click on the pictures for the large pop-ups, but they won't display on the page. I am not pleased by this and Typepad support hasn't offered me a solution as of yet. I assume that since the pictures displayed at one time that it is possible for them to appear again. A knitting blog without pictures sucks. Which means that my blog currently sucks. Damn.
I'm suffering from sleep deprivation again/still. I stayed out til 3:00am on Saturday (it was a damn good time) and have been seriously screwed since then. It hasn't helped that I've stayed up past 11:00 every night this week and that my brain wouldn't stop spinning Wednesday night, the entire night, very little sleep Wednesday, and what there was wasn't all that rejuvenating. I was so tired last night that I didn't want to knit while I watched a movie - that's tired. I turned in at 9:00, anticipating a peaceful, slumber-filled night. The fates had other ideas as a serious thunderstorm tore through the area, whipping my wind chimes about and frightening the pup. Perhaps tonight I will get lucky and sleep well.
Saturday / tomorrow - perhaps I'll find out if the statement "I was on a date" means that he was just on a date when I happened to randomly see him and she's not a serious thing. Because would a guy say he was "on a date" if he was with his girlfriend? I think not, but could easily be wrong.
I'm waiting anxiously for Spring Shawl yarn. Come on Heirloom Knitting yarn! Why can't there be overnight shipping from the United Kingdom to Texas? I would pay for something like that. If I'm insane enough to work with cobweb yarn, I'm insane enough to want to pay for overnight shipping from the UK to Texas.
I had to restart Print o' the Wave because I sucked at picking up stitches. Sure, I could have just picked up the stitches again instead of starting over but I also decided to drop a needle size, requiring a new beginning. I have yet to answer the question of why I'm starting such a large project when I'm about to embark on two larger projects that will take precedence over this one. The question just echos in the empty cavern of my sleepy head. No response. Just dead silence.
Other big news. Rhinebeck. I'm going. With Jody. The details will work themselves out.
I've been a bit out of the loop, so I'm not sure what the domain problems you've got are, but I love all the lacy goodness you have going on! And Rhinebeck... Ooooh. *jealous*

*screams* You're going to Rhinebeck?!?! YAHOOO!! Can't wait to meet you!! ;o)
Oh, and they have Global Priority Mail, etc. at the post office that doesn't seem overly expensive...

Oooh, Rhinebeck. How exciting! Wonder if I could convince DH that we need to vacation in October in Rhinebeck this year :)
I hope your blog problems get worked out. And do get yourself some sleep. It's so easy to get sleep deprived, but hard to get over it. Take care of yourself!
